Matthew Hudson

Matthew Hudson is SJI’s Latin instructor. Born and raised in Texas, Matthew Hudson received a bachelor’s degree from Thomas Aquinas College and completed a master’s degree at the University of St Andrews in Scotland, focusing on language, literature, and the medieval theory of speculative grammar. He has taught Latin, history, philosophy, and literature at classical schools in Arizona and California for nearly a decade. When not in the classroom or on the tennis court, he likes to read and travel. His favorite destinations so far are France, Croatia, and Israel.



Mr. Evan Goldman teaches SJI’s Art Studio classes. Mr. Goldman is a drawing and painting instructor at Montgomery College in Maryland as well as a professional artist.  He earned a BFA from Maryland Institute College of Art, an MFA from the New York Academy of Art, and an MA in Art Education from George Mason University.  His studio art classes at St. Jerome Institute have an emphasis on realism and the techniques of the Old Masters.
