I have been thinking about the many blessings in my life. One of the greatest and most important is my school, the Saint Jerome Institute. Through my friends and teachers there, I am learning about what is really important in life, how to notice and understand it, and how to be a good disciple of the Lord and ultimately become a saint. We are a community of love. We build each other up to be better people. We learn about the Good, the True, and the Beautiful.
I feel so blessed to be given the opportunity to attend SJI High School. The students are very encouraging, friendly, and kind hearted. The teachers are very caring, kind, and supportive and will go above and beyond to help me with my schoolwork. SJI is helping to prepare me for college. I enjoy celebrating Feast Days and spending time with students and staff. I love SJI.
My daughter comes home every day from SJI with new riches to enhance the intellectual and spiritual life of our household: prayers, in both Latin and English, poems she has committed to memory for contests with her friends, songs, both holy and boisterous, that she shares with her sister and brother and that soon resound through the house. SJI has not only taught her wonderful things, it has helped our whole family toward a fuller, more serious Catholic life, for which all of us are grateful.
