First round applicants (decisions announced 2/19/2021 )
First round applicants apply to SJI in the fall of the year prior to their admission. They have priority for financial aid and scholarship decisions and for admissions and wait-lists calls.
Tours and shadow day visits are a great way to get to know what the St. Jerome Institute is about. Visitors can sit in on a seminar or observe students working on projects first hand, while students can see what an entire day at SJI is like.
Currently we are unable to offer shadow days.
A shadow day is a great way to see our curriculum in action through our students in their classes throughout the day. Shadow days are often the biggest help in decision-making for parents and students.
Shadow days are offered throughout the Fall for 8th graders and throughout the Spring for 7th graders. SJI shadow days are Tuesdays, Wednesdays, or Thursdays 8:30am-2:45pm.
St. Jerome Institute is passionate about making the unique benefits of our school accessible to as many students as possible. As such, we are committed to providing opportunities for aid, sponsorships, and scholarships to help meet the financial needs of our diverse families. We urge all interested families to apply, and contact us directly if you have financial concerns.
For our first class of 2019-2020, we were able to secure over $90,000 in financial aid and scholarships for our students, and we are committed to continuing to work toward providing aid for future students.
If you or someone you know is interested in sponsoring an SJI student, please call 301-887-3008 or email mguza@stjeromeinstitute.org.
We are pleased to announce the following two scholarship opportunities for incoming students in school year 2021-2022:
All students who complete the application process in the first round are eligible for our scholarship determination this year.
