Beloved Friends of the St. Jerome Institute,
Our school and community wish you a Merry Christmas! During this beautiful feast of the Nativity of Our Lord, we are filled with great hope as we experience the unanticipated gift of Christmas, the promise of the new covenant heralded by Christ’s incarnation.
It is with tremendous joy that we celebrate together the birth of our baby king and lord. Though we may often be forgetful and careless, today we remember that our destiny is inextricably wound up in the light of Christ’s holy kingdom. From the darkness and confusion of the night, we recall that the dawn of Christ’s coming emanates from the most humble and fragile origins. His quiet birth is a bright candle flame, unwavering in the dark.
During the twelve days of the Feast of Christmas, keep your eye out for the opportunity to help sponsor one of the gifts we hope to give to our students and faculty. I am unspeakably proud of our students and faculty who have laboured with joy and friendship to build this beautiful school. Will you help us in this important work?
While gift giving is an important part of the Christmas Season, we recognize that all gifts have their origin in the gift of Christ himself. We gratefully dedicate our work, our school and our community to the newborn Lord.
May the great blessings and graces of Christmas be with you and your families!
